This Icon Vehicle Dynamics 4.5" hanger and shackle lift kit is designed to fit all 1999.5-2004 Ford F250/F350 SuperDuty and 2000-2005 Excursion models. Please note, this kit ONLY fits 4x4 models! The Icon Vehicle Dynamics line of kits include laser cut pieces to ensure a precise fit and then finishes up with some of the prettiest and strongest welds youll ever see in a production lift kit. This hanger kit uses a 4.5" drop spring hanger and extended shackles in conjunction with the stock springs to provide an honest 4.5" inches of front suspension lift. The beauty of the spring hanger is it allows the stock springs to be reused, it increases usable wheel travel, saves money, and offers an even smoother than stock ride. The 4.5" front hanger kit is leveled with either a 4" or 5" replacement lift block in the rear of the vehicle. The rear block height you select will depend on the stance you want to achieve. PerformanceLifts.com offers the Icon 4", 5" and 6" rear block heights for use with this lift. This kit will level out AND lift the stance of the F-250, F-350, and Excursion, giving your vehicle a great look. Better yet, it still maintains the ability to tow with ease because tow ratings are NOT affected with this kit. Upgrading to a higher quality than stock shock absorber does wonders for the ride quality and really improves on and off-road handling. The IVD Signature Series shocks have a machined finish (silver) that is then clear coated for excellent resistance to rust and staining. The Bilstein 5100 also has a machined silver finish and rides very nice both on and off-road.
