This Superlift K910 6" Performance Suspension Lift System is designed to fit the newest body style 2007+ Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 series trucks. Superlift's replacement knuckle system installs quickly and easily, plus the vehicle can be returned to stock later if desired. The key to attaining optimum vehicle driveability is by selecting proper coil spring rates and providing shock absorbers with the correct dampening. Superlift is able to ensure good component service life because their kit design ensures proper steering geometry and CV axle operating angles well within the GM design parameters. This is the Superlift K910 Performance lift system that includes replacement front shock assemblies. The factory coil springs install onto new Superlift coilover shock bodies. This premium gas shock has a limited lifetime warranty and features a 50mm diameter body with a 14mm rod. Its high pressure gas mono-tube design is valved slightly firmer than the factory shock to offset the additional loads generated by running wider and heavier tire and wheel combinations. This replacement front shock helps firm up the ride and helps prevent an otherwise "spongy" handling truck. For this reason the K910 kit is not recommended for use on vehicles that must retain the factory Autoride electronic shock option. Three different performance shock options are offered for the rear of the truck: Superlift Superide, Superide Select Series (SS) or Superide Select Series with remote reservoir (SSR). Kit Information: Superlift uses taller replacement steering knuckles with this kit. That means the stock upper control arms remain in their factory location, while crossmembers relocate the lower control arms downward 5". New cast ductile iron knuckles span the increased vertical distance between the upper and lower arms. Superlift's knuckles yield the best possible alignment specifications – they maintain zero degrees of additional camber and toe angle change throughout the suspension travel cycle. This produces rock-solid drivability traits, plus the Superlift knuckle design accepts the factory spare tire and wheel. The beefy lower control arm crossmembers, and the remainder of each system's load-bearing bracketry, are laser cut from 1/4" thick plate steel. On 4WD versions the front differential is lowered a full 4" to reduce CV axle angle and premature axle component wear. Additionally, the front differential's structural integrity is not compromised since no cutting is required. Also, the factory front drive shaft is retained. A new differential skid plate connects and strengthens the front / rear crossmembers while protecting the 4WD front axle's center section. Kicker braces, with Urethane bushed eyes, go from the rear crossmember back to the frame to increase rigidity. Rear Lift Superlift offers two different methods to raise the rear of the new Silverado and Sierra. The standard kit includes a 5" lift block and u-bolt kit. As an upgrade, Superlift offers their Superide replacement rear leaf springs. Be sure to select the rear lift method you want when placing your order. This item includes the complete Superlift K910 kit. To complete this lift you will need to select rear shock absorbers. These shocks are available for purchase using the drop down box located beneath this item description. Superlift engineered this 6" suspension lift to clear a 35" tall tire. Superlift recommends running a 17" or larger diameter wheel that is 8" to 9" inches wide. Wheel back space must not exceed 5.50" inches. Some slight trimming may be required to properly clear some 35" tire and wheel combinations. If you have product questions we would be happy to answer them.
