This Skyjacker F9601KS 6" suspension lift system is another prime example of Skyjacker's innovation in the suspension lift market. The all new 2009 Ford F150 is a pretty special truck. Ford spent lots of time and money on this total re-design of the F150 platform. This all new truck required an all new suspension system design and Skyjacker delivers! The Skyjacker 6" lift package features CNC machined steering knuckles to maintain the correct steering geometry, front and rear crossmembers, as well as adjustable front struts that provide the best ride possible and achieve a full 6" inches of lift. And speaking of the front struts, Skyjacker includes these in their kit. The rack and pinion is left intact and no cutting is required on the front differential housing. This kit design allows you to align the truck to factory specifications. Rear Lift:
The Skyjacker F9601KS includes a set of replacement rear leaf springs. The Skyjacker leaf springs have more arch than the factory spring and will raise the rear of the new 2009 Ford F-150 to sit level. The Skyjacker leaf spring also includes an overload leaf which means the truck will retain its ability to tow and haul. Skyjacker offers their Hydro or Nitro series shock that replace the factory rear shock absorbers. Please be sure to select your rear shocks when placing your order. Product Notes:
Please note, at this time the Skyjacker 6" kit is only for use on 4x4 models and requires the use of a 20" or larger diameter wheel. All necessary Grade-8 hardware is supplied with this complete, easy to install kit. The F9601KS part number includes the Skyjacker F9601A box kit, F9601BS box kit, and a pair of FR904S leaf springs.
