This PRG Upper Control Arm kit is designed for use on the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 model year Nissan Frontier and new Suzuki Equator trucks. This arm kit fits both 2wd and 4wd models. PRG designed this Upper Control Arm kit to extract the most wheel travel from your Frontier or Equator using the appropriate front shocks. What these arms will NOT do is offer more articulation or lift on their own. You will need the appropriate replacement front Coilovers to get maximum wheel travel and performance from this upper a-arm. Each control arm has a built-in urethane droop stop that helps reduce noise when the suspension is at full extension. The PRG UCA kit can be used in conjunction with any leveling kit to prevent any noise on full extension. PRG has designed the arm kit to allow the maximum droop possible with absolutely no harm to your CV joints, CV boots, or ball joints. Each PRG control arm is built using chromoly tubing that is powdercoated gloss black. PRG includes Grade 8 installation hardware. The inner pivots are 3/4" heim joints that will not squeak like urethane and use stainless steel spacers for years of use. PRG replaces the factory ball-joint design in favor of a 7/8" uniball. Additional alignment correction is possible with these adjustable heim joints. Installation is not too difficult as these arms come assembled, but because the way Nissan installed the steering shaft removing the factory upper a-arm requires that a factory bolt be cut and PRG provides a replacement bolt for you (you will not need to ever cut the bolt again to remove the arms, as the new bolt is inserted from the opposite side and can be removed easily). Alignment cams are NOT needed with the PRG Upper Arm Kit but an alignment is still recommended. These PRG Upper Control Arms are not designed to provide additional lift by themselves. In otherwords, adding this arm by itself will not give you more lift. This arm is designed to allow you to get additional height from an aftermarket spacer or coilover and prevents the upper arm from hitting the coil bucket. To achieve the best performance a RadFlo or Sway-A-Way replacement coilover is highly recommended. These control arms can also be used with a CST or Fabtech subframe kit and a lift spacer (or adjustable coilover) to achieve additional height. This arm is also a very good upgrade if you frequently take your Frontier off-road. This UCA fits all 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 model year 2wd and 4wd Nissan Frontier pickup trucks. This UCA also fits the new 2009+ Suzuki Equator pickup trucks based on the Frontier chassis!
