This Torsion Bar Mini-Kit is designed to fit 1999-2006 GM 1/2 ton torsion bar equipped K1500 series 4x4 pickup trucks and 2001-2006 GM 1/2 ton 2wd and 4wd SUV's. This includes all 1999-2006 K1500 4x4 1/2 ton pickup trucks, the 2wd and 4wd 2001-2006 Tahoe and Suburban 1500 series, the 2wd and 4wd 2001-2006 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL 1500 series, and all 1/2 ton 2wd and 4wd Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 series vehicles. What makes this torsion key lift different from others on the market? The use of the correct length and properly valved front shock absorber! The Bilstein front shock absorbers included with this Leveling Kit are custom built just for this application. They are a 100% direct fit bolt-on shock absorber that is longer than stock when extended, and still short enough when compressed to fit T-key lifted vehicles perfectly. The end result is a mild suspension lift, varying from 1" to 3" (depending on adjustment) and a more comfortable ride than just running torsion lift keys alone. Some torsion key lifts knock your fillings loose, this one doesn't. Why? It's the SHOCKS! The shocks are designed for this application and do not require any funky shock extenders or bracketry to install. The Bilstein 5100 series shocks mount just like the factory shocks and installation is simple. Remove the factory shocks, reuse the factory shock hardware, install the new shocks. No cutting, no stacking of washers, no modification of the control arm, just an easy bolt-on installation. It's so simple we can't figure out why we didn't put this package together years ago!

The pair of front shocks absorbers included with this kit are the Bilstein 5100 series part number 24-186643. This is a Nitrogen gas pressurized mono-tube shock that provides a very nice ride and exceptional handling. The Bilstein shock absorber has a limited lifetime warranty and features a durable Zinc (Silver) metallic finish.

This item includes one pair of CST Fabricated Torsion Lift Keys (CST # CSK-C13-1) and one pair of Bilstein 5100 Series front shock absorbers. No more, no less. Rear lift and Rear Shock Absorbers are available for purchase separately. Please note, the factory installed rear block height on most Silverado and Sierra 4x4 trucks is 2" inches. If you want to lower the rear of your truck selecting a 1" or 1.50" rear block will allow you to replace the factory 2" block which lowers the back of your truck. If you want to raise the rear of your truck selecting the 3" or 3.5" rear block will replace the factory 2" block and will raise the back of your truck the difference in new vs. stock block heights.
