This Daystar Urethane 2.5" lift spring spacer fits 2002-2005 2wd Dodge Ram 1500 Trucks Only! This is a simple urethane coil spring spacer that can be used by itself to help level the new Dodge Ram 1500 2wd trucks. It can also be used in conjunction with a CST 4" Dodge Ram 1500 lift spindle to increase lift height to approximatey 7" inches (spindles NOT included). These spring spacers will lift the Dodge Ram 1500 2wd approximately 3 inches. Yes, the spacers are less than 3" inches thick. If you understand suspension design (and more importantly geometry) this will make sense. This item includes two Daystar urethane spring spacers, no more and no less. Shock Absorber Information:
The stock 2wd Ram 1500 front shock acts as a limiter for the front suspension. Increasing the length of the front shock may allow the front suspension to over-extend and can cause metal on metal contact when the suspension is fully extended. PerformanceLifts.com has recently been in contact with a number of customers that have requested we offer longer than stock length front shock absorbers. These extended length shock options are now available using the drop down box located beneath this item description. Please note, installation of a longer than stock length shock may cause suspension damage and metal on metal clunking when the suspension tops out. These spacers fit all 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd pickup trucks. We do not recommend the use of these spacers on 2006 or newer Ram trucks due to possible ride quality and assembly issues.
