This Fabtech Toyota Tacoma 6" suspension lift kit is designed to fit 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 4wd models only. This kit does NOT fit Tacoma models equipped with VSC - Vehicle Stability Control! This is Fabtech's earlier kit design and is the least expensive offered for 2005-2008 model year Tacoma trucks that are NOT equipped with VSC. Fabtech now offers a slightly more expensive kit that is compatible with VSC - Kit numbers K7019 and K7020DB. Again, this particular kit is NOT compatible with VSC! This suspension lift system features Fabtech's proven IFS technology with extended length steering knuckles and arched crossmembers for excellent on and offroad performance. Lift is accomplished via a steel coilover shock spacer system that helps retain stock ride characteristics of the vehicle. The rack and pinion remains in the factory location which reduces the time necessary to install the kit. Also included in this system is a 1/4 thick differential skid plate and impact struts. FTS26010 - Coil Spacer Kit Please note, the factory front shocks are reused when installing this lift. Rear shocks are not included with this kit and must be purchased separately. Fabtech offers two very different rear shocks for use with this suspension lift system. The Fabtech performance shock is the inexpensive shock that has been around for almost 10 years. Its ride quality is so-so at best. The Fabtech Dirt Logic Series Shocks are Fabtech's best performing shock design that are made in-house by Fabtech. The Dirt Logic Series Shocks are a race quality shock that not only look better, they ride better too! If you want the ultimate in performance from your Tacoma the Dirt Logic non-reservoir rear shock is the better choice.
