This Fox Racing coilover shock, part number 880-02-525-A, is designed for use on 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 model year Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 trucks. This coilover can provide between 0" and 2" of lift over stock height. For optimal performance on and off-road, Fox Racing recommends the use of an aftermarket replacement upper control arm kit. Installation of an aftermarket upper control arm will allow you to achieve additional rebound suspension travel and this helps to provide much better control and comfort when driving over rough road surfaces. For highway use the upper arm kit doesn't provide any great benefits, off-road is where the combination of the Fox Racing Coilover and the aftermarket upper arm really show their worth! PerformanceLifts.com recommends the Blitzkrieg Motorsports and Total Chaos Fab upper arms kits for use with this coilover. This item includes a pair of Fox Racing Coilover Shocks. These coilovers shocks come ready to install and include replacement coil springs, brackets to attach the reservoirs, and all the hardware necessary for installation. These shocks are a bolt on item and do not require any cutting or welding to install. For the rear Fox offers part number 980-02-526-A - this is a 2.0 body Piggy-Back reservoir shock. The Fox rear shocks are offered as an option and are not included in the $1299.00 price. The Fox 2.0 Piggy-Back reservoir shocks are built and valved specifically for use with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Please note, Fox rear shocks will NOT work on AutoRide (electronically controlled shock) equipped models. AutoTrac and AutoRide are two totally different vehicle systems.
