If you are lucky enough to own a 2005+ 2wd Frontier we've got good news for you, CST offers a 4" lift spindle designed specifically for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 2wd Frontier owners. This CST 4" spindle lift provides just that, 4" of front suspension lift that allows the use of larger than stock size tires. Please note that this product is ONLY available for 2wd Frontier trucks. This CST CSS-N1-2 lift spindle will not fit any 4x4 Frontier model! And 2wd Xterra owners, this CST 4" lift spindle will fit your 2wd SUV too. The CST 4" spindle for the 2wd 2005+ Nissan Frontier is the best suspension lift for the money on the market. It provides 4" inches of suspension lift and retains a very stock like ride. The ground clearance under the front crossmember will be increased 4" inches, giving you considerably more ground clearance than even a lifted 4x4 Frontier. The CST spindle is relatiely easy to install, requires no welding, and the truck can easily be returned to stock if you need to turn the vehicle in at the end of its lease. Installation does require cutting 1/4" off the threaded rod going to the tie rod ends. This CST 4" Frontier lift spindle does NOT require a replacement front shock absorber. To level your Frontier you will need to install approximately 3" inches of rear lift to achieve a level stance front to rear. At this time PerformanceLifts.com offers a few different rear suspension lift options, simple block and U-bolt kits, Deaver Mini-Pack spring packs, PRG adjustable lift height shackles, and combinations of the three. Rear shock options are plentiful too. CST offers a very nice shock that fits this application well, as does Bilstein and RadFlo. Looking for even more lift?
You can combine the CST 4" lift spindle and the PRG 2" lift spacer or Bilstein Adjustable Spring Seat Front Shocks to get a total of 6" inches of front suspension lift! A complete 6" lift will require the following lift components... CST 4" Spindle - PRG 2" Front Spacer - CST Front Brake Hose Kit - 4" Rear Lift - Carrier Bearing - Rear Shocks. All of these items are available using the drop down selection boxes located beneath this item description! This CST 4" spindle lift for the 2wd Frontier is designed to allow the use of a 285/75/16 size tire. CST recommends a 17x8" wheel with 5.00" of backspace. Other wheel sizes and back spaces can be used, including 16" wheels, 18" wheels, 20" wheels, etc. Some Frontier owners are running the factory Nissan wheel. This is possible but CST (the spindle manufacturer) does not officially recommend it.
