This CST 4" suspension lift system is designed for use on the new 2009, 2010 and 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd trucks only. This lift will fit all cab and bed lengths. The 4" front lift consists of a pair of CST lift spindles and extended length braided stainless steel front brake hoses. The rear suspension lift is provided via a pair of 1" or 1.5" CST coil spring spacers. The factory front and rear shock absorbers can be retained if desired. For a ride and handling performance upgrade PerformanceLifts.com does offer CST and Bilstein 5100 series rear shock absorbers for use with the CST 1" or 1.5" rear lift. These rear shocks are available for purchase using the drop down selection box located beneath this item description.

The CST 4" lift spindles are built in the USA using 1018 sheet steel and are stronger than the OEM parts they replace. Lift spindles also provide a ground clearance increase that give the 2wd Ram 1500 more ground clearance than a same height lifted Ram 1500 4x4! Please note, at this time PerformanceLifts.com offers a number of rear lift height options. The standard CST CSK-D23-7 kit includes a 1" billet aluminum spacer as shown in the product image. Performance Lifts now offers a CST 1.50" rear spacer lift that is identical in design to the 1" spacer, but this spacer provides 1.50" inches of lift. We also offer the Icon 21-2150 Rear Lift coil springs that provide 1.50" of lift and replace the factory Dodge rear springs. The Icon 1.50" Coil Springs have a slightly higher spring rate than the factory Dodge spring. Finally we offer the CST 4" rear lift kit for customers that are adding this 4" CST Lift Spindle to an existing 2" or taller leveling kit. The 1.50" rear kit is the best choice to achieve a near level stance when the front is raised 4" inches over stock height. The CST 4" rear lift will level most trucks when the front is raised 6" inches over stock height.

This lift has been installed, tested, and successfully held an alignment with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market. Customers are also pleasantly surprised when they learn the truck rides as nice as it looks! This CST 4" spindle lift kit does NOT replace the coil springs and for this reason retains a very smooth and comfortable highway and freeway ride.

Tire & Wheel Info:
This kit will not work with factory 18" or smaller diameter wheels and larger than factory size tires. Aftermarket wheels with less back space are required to prevent the tire sidewall from making contact with the CST 4" lift spindle. For this reason CST recommends using an 18" or larger diameter wheel that is 8" or 9" inches wide. We have a number of customers running larger than stock tires on their factory 20" diameter Dodge wheels. The Black Ram shown in product image is running a Toyo Open Country A/T tire on the factory Dodge 20" wheels. When running a 17" or 18" wheel diameter the wheel back space should not exceed the CST recommended 5.00" inches. PerformanceLifts.com has numerous 2009, 2010 and 2011 Ram 1500 2wd customers safely running factory Dodge 20" diameter wheels with 305 series tires without wheel spacers. Customers wanting to run tires wider than 12.00" inches (wider than a 305 series) on their factory Dodge 20" diameter wheels should consider a wheel spacer to ensure sufficient clearance between the tire sidewall and the CST 4" lift spindle. This CST lift will not fit Ram 2500 or 3500 series trucks (except for certain non-US models)! Please note, this kit has been verified to fit 2009, 2010 and 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd trucks with the new body style and multi-link coil spring rear suspension design.
