The Basics:
This CST 6" kit will provide a true 6" inches of front suspension lift and 3" inches in the back. The front is lifted more than the back to help LEVEL the truck front to rear. The heart of the lift is the CST lift spindle. Additional lift is provided by a 2.5" coil spring spacer that in total provides 6" of lift. With this amount of lift you can safely run a 35" diameter tire. This lift is sold as a complete system and includes EVERYTHING necessary to lift your 2wd Ram 1500 Mega Cab truck.

Features & Benefits:
The CST lift spindle isn't cast, it's fabricated from sheet steel and CNC'd parts, welded by hand, and finish machined to ensure it's going to fit right the first time with no modifications necessary to install. And while we are on the subject, some people call this a lift spindle, others call it a steering knuckle, call it whatever you want, we call it a lift spindle. This CST 3.5" lift spindle is MUCH beefier and stronger than the factory part it replaces. CST products ain't cheap to build and they are more expensive than the cheap stuff other companies produce. If you want cheap go somewhere else... if the price is too high all we can say is keep saving your pennies, this product is worth every last cent. This is one of the few products that we can honestly say will outlast the rest of the truck. If you've got a 6-speed manual transmission Ram with the Cummins you already know the addition of larger tires will drop your cruising RPM down. With the lift and a set of 35" tires you can reduce highway and freeway engine RPM... and a strange benefit is that in some cases a reduction in RPM can actually increase fuel economy. As always, your mileage may vary.

Important Information!
This CST 2003-2008 Mega Cab 2wd 6" lift requires an extended length rear shock. Rear shocks for use with this lift can be purchased using the drop down selection box located beneath this item description. This lift is for use on 2wd Ram 1500 Mega Cab trucks only! This will NOT fit any 4x4 model or regular 1/2 ton Standard cab or Quad Cab models! MEGA CAB ONLY! The CST 3.5" lift spindles used in this lift system require the use of aftermarket wheels. The stock Ram wheel back space is too great and the taller spindle neck won't clear a factory wheel. If you ABSOLUTELY must run the factory wheels we'd advise you find a set of 1.250" wheel spacers. We recommend an aftermarket wheel with no more than 5.00" inches of back space. Do it the right way, run an aftermarket wheel with the correct back space. We do however offer a .500" wheel spacer that will allow the use of the emergency spare tire (stock wheel & tire only!) on the front end, but this is for EMERGENCY USE ONLY. If you want to run this lift on your truck you better start looking at aftermarket wheels. If you need help finding a set please let us know, we offer a wide range of wheels that work with this lift. The tire on the truck in the picture is a 325/65/18. It measures out to just under 35" inches in diameter and about 13" inches wide. On an 8" or 9" wide wheel this tire clears ok, so our advice is DO NOT RUN a wheel that's wider than 9" inches. What does that mean, avoid 10" or wider wheels if you can! Stick with a slightly narrower wheel and your tires will be less likely to rub.
