Camburg Off-Road Engineering 1998-2011 2wd Ranger 5.5" Performance Lift Kit! This Camburg Performance 5.5" Ranger lift kit is an off-road kit designed and built to perform well in real off-road conditions. This 5.5" lift kit uses a Camburg built 3" fabricated race spindle with a massive 1" Uni-Ball. The stock Ranger ball-joints are a weak point in the stock Ranger suspension, so Camburg spent the extra time and effort to design a Ranger arm and spindle equipped with uni-balls. The upper A-Arm is made with 1-1/2" .120 wall tubing - the good stuff. For shocks Camburg recommends the Bilstein 5100 series shock absorbers. The Bilstein 5100 is a great shock for the money that works extremely well on and off-road. The replacement coil springs will provide 2.5" inches of lift over stock height. This Camburg Performance Lift Kit will increase track width by 1.5" per side giving you a 3" overall wider stance. Because of the added front track width PerformanceLifts.com recommends installing fiberglass front fenders - otherwise you risk damaging your tires and stock metal fenders. This 5.5" Camburg Performance Suspension lift kit will provide between 9" to 10" of honest suspension travel. This kit is designed for use on a wide range of model years. Please note however that if your Ranger is a 1998, 1999, or 2000 model year you will have to upgrade to the larger rotor Ford started using starting with the 2001 model year. Camburg now offers only one kit and it is designed for the 2001-2011 model years. Again, to make this kit fit the 1998-2000 model year you will have to upgrade to the larger front brake rotor used on 2001 and newer trucks. This kit includes: Upper A-Arms - Limit Straps - Fabricated Race Spindles with 1" uni-balls and spacers - 2.5" Lift Coil-Springs - Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers (front only) - Bump Stops. Recommended additions are fiberglass front fenders, rear lift, and rear shocks. Please note: PerformanceLifts.com no longer ships fiberglass fenders or bedsides.
