This Bilstein F4-BE5-E689-H0 rear shock absorber is designed for use on the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 model year Nissan Frontier pickup trucks. This shock will fit both 2wd and 4x4 models. Please note, this shock will work on stock height trucks and those equipped with up to a 1.5" rear lift. The F4-BE5-E689-H0 measures 21.69" extended and 13.84" compressed. This shock is almost 3/4" of an inch longer in the extended length than most OE rear shocks. The Bilstein design allows the compressed length however to remain near stock measurements. If the rear of your Frontier is lifted up to around 2" inches this Bilstein shock should work just fine. If your Frontier is equipped with more than 2" inches of rear lift you will want to consider the use of a longer shock. Again, this Bilstein E689 shock can be installed on trucks with up to 2" inches of rear lift. This Bilstein 5100 Series shock absorber is designed for use on the rear of 2005-2011 Nissan Frontier trucks. Other Bilstein shocks for the Frontier require some modifications to the bushing or sleeve size before they can be installed. This shock is designed specifically to fit the Frontier right out of the box!
